Overview: In this project, an Excel workbook was created to demonstrate a wide range of retail math skills. The workbook includes a series of assignments that cover topics from basic retail math calculations to the development of a detailed six-month assortment plan. Throughout this project, I gained hands-on experience using Excel to perform essential retail math functions, such as calculating sales estimates, inventory levels, and pricing strategies. I also learned how to create and format pivot tables, generate charts and graphs to visually represent data, and organize complex information in a clear and professional manner. This project strengthened my ability to apply retail math concepts in a real-world business context and enhanced my technical skills in Excel, both of which are critical for success in the retail and merchandising industry.
