Textiles and Clothing Import and Export

Overview: In this assignment, I analyzed global trends in clothing and textile trade by comparing export and import data across developing, emerging, and developed countries. Using economic indicators like GDP per capita, I examined why countries such as Bangladesh, India, and China dominate clothing and textile exports, largely due to low labor costs and large-scale production capabilities. I also explored how developed countries like the U.S., Germany, and France lead in clothing and textile imports, driven by strong consumer demand and a focus on luxury and specialized products. This analysis highlights the relationships between economic development, production strategies, and global trade patterns in the apparel and textile industries.
